How is a button created?

Buttondesign by Ulli Taferner offers handmade art on high-quality button blanks. The buttons are cast, wood, or acrylic and have an eyelet at the back. The motifs are painted in a size of 10-14mm on paper with acrylic paints and then transferred to special foils to decorate the buttons. The small sizes are chosen deliberately as the result is most beautiful when printed at the original scale. Other sizes, hole drillings or materials can also be offered for larger order quantities on request (link to buttons for retailers). The range of designs is constantly growing, and customer suggestions on different topics are always welcome. It is important to note that existing logos and coats of arms are only offered by arrangement, and printed versions are always slightly different from painted logos or coats of arms. Production starts after placing the order, and delivery is 7-14 days. Shipping takes place by post with tracking (within Austria).

All these products are available for purchase on my website. For this variant, I draw various motifs from different areas of life using acrylic paints on paper, and then transfer them by hand onto the button. The buttons and accessories are machine washable and largely resistant to damage.

"I offer a unique service called 'S'Ausseer Knopferl', where I paint custom designs on buttons or other accessories based on individual customer requests. This personalized service is exclusively available through 'Ausseer Knopferl' or can be requested separately. I use acrylic paints to create the design on a smooth, roughened surface, and then seal it with synthetic resin. You will receive instructions on how to handle the painted buttons when you pick them up. Please note that the buttons I paint directly must either be protected with aluminum foil when machine washed or separated and re-sewn later."
